With increasing interest in sports and athletic activities, sports injuries are increasing.

Prevention
- Participation in proper warm up and stretching exercises

- Screening before sport season or beginning of new sport activity.
Primary Management

- Splinting or immobilization of affected limb helps in relieving pain and swelling
- Apply ice
- Give medicines or spray for temporary pain relief
- Take patient to sports injury specialist for further diagnosis and treatment
