Dr. Mayur Purandare is Director of Orion Hospital. He is the Orthopaedic & joint Replacement consultant who has extensive knowledge and training in the field of Orthopaedics and Joint replacement. He is also a trained Arthroscopy & shoulder surgeon. He has been outstanding throughout his academic career. He has done significant academic and extracurricular contribution during his graduation. He has done his MBBS under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. He has done DNB Orthopaedics form Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, which is well known for Orthopaedic & joint treatments. He has done his fellowship in joint replacement from DMH Pune & fellowship in Shoulder surgery from the esteemed institute – Wrightington Hospital, England
He has also worked in other renowned institutes like R N cooper Municipal Hospital, Mumbai, Bhagwati Municipal Hospital, Mumbai, BKL Walawalkar Hospital, Dervan, Hanumant Hospital, Mahuva. He is trained all types of fracture treatments, Joint Replacements of Knee, Hip & shoulder, Arthroscopic surgeries of Knee and shoulder; Ligament reconstruction surgeries and sports injuries.
He has continuously upgraded his knowledge through various academic activities, conferences, and research work. He has presented more than 14 papers in various national and international conferences. He has won best paper prize twice.
